Time for review, thanks and outlook
On November 29, 2024, the Center for Salutogenesis celebrated its 20th anniversary. Comedian Elisabeth Möller, aka Lila Luder, delighted the attendees, both old and new, with her poems and touching songs. The director of the center, Dr. Theodor Dierk Petzold, provided insights into the center's 20-year history. Systemic and clinical psychotherapist Nadja Lehmann, a founding member of the Center for Salutogenesis, praised the co-creative collaboration within the center.
From 2005 to 2019, the Center for Salutogenesis hosted an annual symposium on salutogenesis. Since 2012, this event has been held every two years, alternating with the umbrella organization Salutogenesis DachS. Since 2023, salutogenesis symposia have been held sporadically in cooperation with other organizations.
The center's symposia take place in Bad Gandersheim, while those of DachS and other collaborations take place at different locations.
The symposia serve as an exchange among experts (patients can also be experts in healthy development) of ideas, theories, and practical experiences on the topic of "Salutogenesis – how do we put it into practice?" Development takes place in dialogue with one another.
Below we provide an overview of the topics covered so far, including the associated publications (collections):

Further development of salutogenesis?! – Where do we stand?
A group of four dedicated individuals and organizations from the DACH countries (see below) cordially invite you to a co-creative exchange around the question: What's new in the further development of salutogenesis – in practice and theory? The extensive program demonstrates how many committed and active people want to share their experiences, projects, ideas, and visions for healthy development and present them for discussion. The symposium aims to be a milestone toward greater and shared clarity on: Which aspects of salutogenesis – practical and theoretical – do you want to cultivate?
The Bavarian Medical Association awarded the event a total of 19 points!
