Symposia

From 2005 to 2019, the Center for Salutogenesis held an annual symposium on salutogenesis.

Since 2012, alternating every two years with the umbrella organization Salutogenesis DachS.

Since 2023, symposia on salutogenesis have been held sporadically in collaborations.

The center's symposia take place in Bad Gandersheim and

those from DachS or other collaborations in different locations.

The symposia serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, theories, and practical experiences among experts (patients can also be experts in healthy development) on the topic of "Salutogenesis – how do we put it into practice?" Development takes place through dialogue.

Below is an overview of the topics covered so far, including the corresponding publications (anthologies):

Time for reflection, gratitude, and outlook

On November 29, 2024, the Center for Salutogenesis celebrated its 20th anniversary. Cabaret artist Elisabeth Möller, also known as Lila Luder, delighted the assembled long-time and current collaborators and supporters of the center from the surrounding area with her own poems and moving songs. The center's director, Dr. Theodor Dierk Petzold, provided an overview and insights into the center's 20-year history. Systemic and clinical psychotherapist Nadja Lehmann – a founding member of the Center for Salutogenesis – praised the collaborative spirit within the center.
