Cultivating seeing trust in a space of trust
In response to the question: What do you and do we want to cultivate? (which we have explored in many KKT sessions), the intention to cultivate seeing trust in spaces of trust has crystallized for me in several conversations.
What does that mean and how could that work?
We have just witnessed in the Bundestag the great political significance of the vote of confidence. Through trust, every individual can contribute their responsibility and power to both private social and public societal collaborations. Trust is the foundation for cooperation, for constructive, co-creative relationships.
Trust is a feeling of constructive connection. Antonovsky (1997) defined the feeling of trust as the sense of coherence, which is crucial for healthy development. (Basic) trust is a central aspect of our attitude in the motivational coherence mode (Petzold & Henke 2023; Petzold 2024).
If we take our conscious "seeing" trust seriously and consider it important as a guide for collaborations, this promotes conscious and co-creative cooperation.
Seminar Content
In the confidential space, participants will explore these questions in pairs through four modules, answering them for themselves. Afterwards, the experiences will be shared and reflected upon within the group.
Furthermore, each module will include a short, scientifically based presentation.
Who or where would you currently like to trust more?
What do you need to gain more self-confidence?
What do you need to continually rediscover basic trust?
How can you achieve visible trust?
